Please Read Before Sending a Service Request

Our shop is a shop on a Mission. A mission to change the automotive repair world. Our operations are different than the standard automotive shop. Let’s highlight a few things to make your process smooth and clear.

When you send a service request, Please include the following information for faster service :

1- Clear description of services needed. If your car is due for maintenance include estimated mileage so we can better serve you. If you are not sure about what’s needed or want to know what your car needs, please indicate that you’d like an inspection and list any related symptoms and\or issues ( If any ) that you are having with your car.

2- Include your vehicle’s VIN number or License plate ( including state ) so we can get accurate estimates with correct parts for your vehicle.

Once we receive your service request we will build an initial estimate for the work requested within 24-48 business hours and send it to you via Text and Email ( make sure you provide a phone number that can receive text messages and a valid email ).

The message you receive will include a link to view your estimate in details. We believe you should know the prices and details of the estimate before you schedule your appointment to save your time and our time.

Once you review the estimate and you select which services you want to do, You have an option to authorize repairs in the website. Please know that authorizing repairs and signing for them doesn’t mean you are obligated to pay at all. This simply means that you reviewed the estimate and you agree to the amount of the estimate so there won’t be any confusion when you come in for your appointment.

Once you’re authorized the repairs please call us at 708-840-8226 during our business hours or reply to the text message that you received to schedule your appointment.

While we’d love to accommodate every single request with a quick appointment, This is simply not possible due to the large volume of requests we receive and the way we do repairs. We focus on Quality over Quantity. We schedule light and spend as much time needed with every car, owner and repair that is in the shop. Wait times for appointments are long but once you’ve waited for an appointment and brought your car to our shop, We will make it up by high quality repair and attention to detail beyond anything you’ve seen before!

Please Read the following information BEFORE sending a service request :

1- We cannot answer technical questions through the request form. Any questions you have, we will be happy to help when your appointment arrives and your vehicle is in the shop.

2- This form is for appointment requests for the shop Only. If you have a comment or concern associated with The Car Care Nut Channel please leave a comment on the channel or email the channel directly.

3- If you are from out of state and would like to drive or ship your vehicle to us, please indicate that in your service request so we can know and work with you on the logistics of getting your vehicle safely to our shop PRIOR to sending the car.

4- We do not have a night drop key box. All cars staying overnight in the shop MUST be stored indoors. This is intentional for the safety and security of your car. For as long as your car is in our shop, it is always stored overnight indoors under lock and camera.

7- We do not service Pontiac Vibes and Chevrolet Prism. Yes we understand that they are actually Toyotas, but due to issues with parts availability and parts warranty, we elected to not service them anymore. Thank you for understanding this.
